"Lance is truly a blessing. I don’t even have the words to fully explain how much he helped me and my family with purchasing a new home. We lost our home in the Altadena fires and were utter in shock and devastation. After deciding to leave LA and look to live elsewhere in CA, we found a home that seemed too good to be true in Santa Cruz, and that is how we met Lance. I was nervous working with an agent I had never worked with before, and we were also not familiar with the area we were moving to. Lance truly was a light in the dark for us. He helped us get the home (even with other competitive buyers), and also helped provide us with resources that went from an amazing lender, to new sub contractors for work to be done, to even helping us learn about the area and local invaluable information. He truly went above and beyond. He was always available on the phone, email, and in person to go over anything I ever needed to know, and had the patience to help me understand new aspects of owning a property on a large piece of land. He is so on the ball with details, paperwork, and communication. A true professional with the utmost integrity. After this whole experience, my family and I can now honestly call him a friend. I cannot speak highly enough of Lance and feel so truly lucky to have found him after such a tragic situation of losing our home in Los Angeles.... Thank you thank you thank you Lance!!!"

"Lance took on the sale of my property at the most traumatic time in my life. I had recently lost my husband, was caring for my dying mother and caring for my son who was going through cancer treatment. Lance was tenacious and empathetic and genuinely caring and responsive. He needed copious amounts of documentation and I was totally unable, both physically and mentally, to comb through decades of paperwork that was scattered due to my move from California to Nevada, in the midst of all this turmoil. Lance went above and beyond and “held my hand” through the entire process. I felt like I had a family member helping me, rather than a realtor. "Lance and Liz recently helped my wife and I sell our home of 14 years and purchase another home in the same area. We love the area and desired additional features, an upgrade from our current house. We had a long list of “wants” and the bottom line is we ended up checking every box we wanted for our new home and then some. Equally as important is that Lance and Liz showed incredible integrity and professionalism throughout the entire process. It took about 6 months from the time we first spoke until we got the keys to our new place. We love our new home and couldn’t have done it without the strategic thinking, technical input, and tenacity of the “Liz and Lance” team. Speaking of team, I wasn’t sure how a real estate team operates. It seems most realtors go it alone not wanting to share the commission with others. I now see the tremendous benefits of hiring a team. It seemed like no matter what obstacle was presented or what problem needed to be solved one of them had the answer and when we needed to communicate, one or both of them were always available. This is a huge bonus in today’s busy market! They were there for us every step of the way and always had our best interests in mind. Also, they complement each other very well. An example of this is Lance knowing the housing market really well in our area and Liz providing strategic touches on showing our home. They were both very generous with their time, expertise and resources and did not nickel and dime us at all throughout the process. Also, their service did not stop with the purchase of our home as they continued to help us for months into our new home. I would say they went above and beyond. They are a great team! Hire these two, they will not disapoint you!"

"Lance Hulsey is one of the best agents in the Santa Cruz area. He helped me sell my townhouse in Santa Cruz and purchase a new house in Felton. This was all during the crazy winter storms we had. My new home was purchased on a contingency. He kept me calm and worked with the sellers agent as we sold my townhouse. Everything work out great! The sun came out and so did the buyers. Lance is extremely knowledgeable of the Santa Cruz area including the mountains. Which is extremely helpful. There are a lot of properties with issues up there. Lance can make sure you don’t make a mistake with his extensive knowledge of the area. I will definitely use Lance again and refer him to anyone looking to purchase or sell a home."
